DigiTronics Taipei 2007 opens New Age Digital Living

   

Taipei, Taiwan April 19th 2007 – A new age of digital living is being ushered in at 2007 DigiTronics Taipei that runs at the TWTC from April 21st to 24th. This event opens unprecedented prospects for 

B2B opportunities, trade talks, product presentations, and seminars and provides the best platform for product sourcing, marketing OEM/ODM services, finding cooperative ventures, and technology exchange.

 

DigiTronics2007 is jointly organized by TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) and Taiwan Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers’ Association and joins a total of 135 leading companies are using 238 booths. They will exhibit before a projected 20,000 buyers and visitors. The show highlights seven specialized areas and four theme halls, namely Electronic Components, Consumer Electronics & Digital Household Products, Computer and Communication Products, Meters and Testing Equipments, Heavy Electrical Machinery and Manufacture Equipments, Safety Equipments, and the Press. A special exhibition features Tokyo-based NHK that is here to promote its HDTV.

 

USER CONSUMER FRIENDLY FOCUS

The latest user consumer friendly products will be showcased at the show’s digital presentation platform. This area, expected to be a major attraction with domestic and foreign buyers, will highlight the cost, quality, and style advantages of Taiwan’s products.

Many leading firms are at this year’s DigiTronics Taipei. In the Digital Household Products Area, Hope Song International is presenting its high-tech massage equipment, and Macpower & Typech Technology is launching its new digital family theater products. In the Consumer Electronic Product Area, Microlinks Technology is highlighting its digital microscope, and not far away there’s Juster which is launching its multimedia speakers.

 

In the Computer Information and Peripheral Area, Yii Cherng International is expected to launch its “energy-saving and environment friendly” solar energy application kits and G. Sol Technology will unveil its multifunctional satellite navigation units. In the Electronic Components Area, Pingood Enterprise will showcase its industrial electronic plastic modules, and Sunlike Display Tech will launch its LCD display modules. The Meters & Testing Equipment Area features environmental medical digital meter manufacturer Tes Electrical Electronic Corp. and structure dynamic specialist Samwell Testing Inc.

 

Meanwhile, the Safety Equipment Area showcases its wireless bandwidth and fingerprint identification cards specialist - Soyal Technology and security surveillance equipment manufacturer - Kingdom Communication. And, the Electrical Machinery & Manufacture Equipment Area features the tin-welding equipment specialist - Jue Chun Electronics Co.

 

The presence of several heavyweight buyers from major firms at this year’s DigiTronics Taipei will create further business opportunities. These include VIPs from HAMA GmbH & Co. KG (Germany), K&K Electronics Ltd. (Bulgaria), JC International Inc. (USA), Octanorm Nordic AB (Sweden), China Video Industry Association (CVIA), Supercom (Canada), Samsung Corporation (Korea), Kenwood (Japan), and Grupo Granados (Guatemala). Samsung Corporation (Korea) and Kenwood (Japan) – all of who will be hosting procurement meetings in this event.

 

A series of seminars and forums have also been planned for the 2007 DigiTronics Taipei to offer the latest industry information and create more business opportunities. These talks include an overview of the Future and market of Digital TV, that’s presented by the Digital TV Association, FTTx Fiber Network, presented by the Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers’ Association, and more topics like WiMAX and IPTV. NEC Japan will also host a seminar on the After-Sale Service Market in Japan. Samsung Corporation will host a procurement presentation for LCD Optical Films and Semiconductor Manufacture Equipment Components; and Kenwood Japan will also host procurement meetings.

 

Four theme halls showcase the future of digital electronics underscore the theme of better tech-promoted living and business opportunities. These theme concepts are “Fiber2U Broadband”, “Home Smart Home”, “Smart Energy”, and “Digital TV Application” with many of the products based upon broadband, digital, smart, and energy-saving technologies. This space will launch vast opportunities across the digital horizon.

 

For example Fiber2U Hall underscores the progress of the Home Fiber Optical Applications Project that was conducted by the Committee of Communications Industry Development (Ministry of Economic Affairs). This project provides sufficient broadband to turn voice, data, and multimedia data into digital IP. In the future, life will be surrounded by transmission through fiber optics. Fiber optics is escaping the limitations of mainframe backbone networks and the new age will transform daily living.

 

Meanwhile, the “Home Smart Home Hall” introduces four main topic areas, namely “Safety and Security”, “Health Care”, “Sustainable Energy”, and “Convenience & Comfort”. These concepts are destined to soon alter every facet of life and living and its exhibition centers on technologies of home security, remote control, and remote healthcare. As a result homes are now smarter.

 

The “Smart Energy Hall” reminds people of the importance of energy conservation and introducers companies to the infinite opportunities that come with this endeavor. It showcases an energy-saving control system for system manufacturers, convenient stores, and consumers. The “Digital TV Application Hall” showcases major breakthroughs in the global TV industry. The exhibition focuses on the newest digital TV technologies such as high-resolution TV and handheld TV. It’s here where one can check out the five wireless TV broadcasting systems in Taiwan, system operators, and end-system companies who are pioneering future TV broacasts via a series of multimedia programs.

 

As semiconductors, telecom, home appliances, and automobile technologies mature, IT business has been churning out a vast and varied selection of products in a race to lead the industry. Started as the center for PC and communication products, Taiwan has moved up the food chain to develop itself into a technology and manufacturing giant, one well capable of taking the helm in digital electronics.

 

2007 DigiTronics Taipei runs from April 21 to April 24 and is open on the first three days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closes on its final day, April 24th, at 3 p.m.  All visitors by business invitation only, tickets are free with exchange of invitation or business card. This year’s Taipei Int’l Giftware Show (Spring Stationery Show) runs during the same period.
